Materials

If it fits on the table, we can probably cut it

Waterjet doesn’t care what the material is. No heat, no melting, no burnt edges — the same machine cuts hardened steel and soft foam.

Why Waterjet

What laser and plasma can’t do

Waterjet cuts with high-pressure water and abrasive — no flame, no beam, no heat. That changes what’s possible.

No heat-affected zone

Cold cutting means no warping, no hardened edges, no discoloration. The material you send is the material you get back — just in the shape you asked for.

Laser and plasma both burn through material, leaving a heat-affected zone that can change its properties.

Any material, any thickness

Metals, stone, glass, rubber, plastics, composites — from thin gasket stock up to 6″ thick plate, on the same table.

Laser struggles past about 1″ in steel and won’t touch reflective or non-metal materials. Plasma is metals only.

Tight tolerance, smooth edge

Tolerances to ±0.005″ with a smooth, satin edge that often needs no secondary finishing. Parts go straight from our table to your assembly.

Plasma-cut edges typically need grinding or machining before they’re usable.

What DFW shops say about us

“Sent a DXF Monday morning, picked up forty stainless brackets Wednesday. Edges were clean enough to weld as-is.”
